Susan consigned two loads of women’s clothing to LiquidateNow: an assortment of “Pinup” style clothing and an assortment of “Level 99” clothes and underwear for women – neither of which fit the “business casual” style that Dress for Success encourages. When the organization receives donations they cannot use, they work with small liquidation companies who can get rid of a few unusable units. “About once a year we get a big load like this one,” says Susan. “I found a bunch of other liquidators but they said my inventory sheet wasn’t specific enough – they wanted much more detailed manifests.” Since this was merchandise they were looking to get rid of, Susan wasn’t interested in further working with the inventory sheet, and LiquidateNow was able to help where others turned her away. “As soon as I spoke to Alain and he made it SO simple for me, I stopped looking elsewhere,” she says.
This was Susan’s first experience with LiquidateNow, and she says she’ll use the service again. “The service was awesome and the time frame for getting them sold was great. We recovered a little bit less than we wanted, but my goal is always to get back as much as I possibly can. The recovery was really not much less than I expected,” she describes. “I’ll definitely use you guys again the next time I have a bigger load of stuff to move.”
